Since I have tested this printer solidly after I got it start of this week I want to point out few things that might be useful for future buyers. First of all the Brother DCP-7055 is a nice entry level all in one laser printer for home users or small offices - mainly because it isn't network ready and the toner lasts for 1000 pages. It prints really nice any text documents but the images wouldn't be of the highest quality (saying that you should bare in mind that it isn't really designed for such purpose). It has a lot of standard features that you would find in this range of printers eg. copying without being connected to a PC or the double hinged lid which makes copying or scanning thick books fairly easy. A big plus is the paper tray which holds up to 250 a4 sheets and an additional feeder that takes non standard size documents. The scanner is quite fast and does a good job with colours as well. The DCP-7055 is also very simple in terms of use - the 2 line display and the menu aren't complicated and allow you to work fast with the printer. In general I would say that this is one of the best options on the market if you plan to get an inexpensive all in one laser printer.

The Brother DCP-7055 is a great choice of printer if you need an office laser printer that prints reliably and allows copy and scan also. This no fuss laser gets the job done and fits into our small office perfectly.
