It's a great idea to sell these pedestals in natural coloured wood.
I stained my own desk with wood stainer so when I decided I needed a pedestal, it proved extremely difficult to find one that matched my desk. Then a friend suggested buying a natural wood one and staining it myself. I didn't even know they existed!
Very happy when I stumbled across this one for a great price. I stained it myself and now it blends in very well with my desk. The locking mechanism is also very sturdy. You can't pry the drawers open or anything either.
