We stock office chairs across six main upholstery types. On fit-out and bulk orders we can match the colour to your corporate colours or a colour of your choice. A chair's material and colour affect how it wears, how easily it cleans and how well it fits the room it sits in. It's worth getting right rather than defaulting to whatever's in stock.
The upholstery options we supply
Six finishes cover most of what we supply, each with its own clear use case rather than one being simply better than the rest.
- Fabric: our everyday all-rounder. Breathable and comfortable over long sitting periods, with the widest colour range we stock. It's the default for general task and operator chairs.
- Wool and wool-blend: a step up in feel and finish. Naturally hard-wearing with a premium, tactile look. We recommend it for meeting rooms, boardrooms and executive seating.
- Vinyl: the wipe-clean, hygienic choice. It cleans and sanitises quickly. We supply it as standard for healthcare, labs, clinical and food-facing settings. It also suits anywhere seating sees heavy, shared use.
- Faux leather: the executive look without the cost or upkeep of genuine leather. It wipes clean, wears well and gives reception areas and director chairs a smart, considered finish.
- Genuine leather: for boardrooms and director chairs where a natural material matters. We can source it through sustainably managed tanneries, including vegetable-tanned options alongside conventional chrome-tanned hides.
- Mesh: the breathable, modern option. Air moves through the back rather than being trapped against it. That keeps things cool in warm offices and gives task chairs their light, contemporary look.
Matching colours to your fit-out
On fit-out and bulk orders, we can match chair upholstery to your corporate colours or simply a colour of your choice. Beyond the usual greys, blacks and blues, we can source a wide range of vibrant colours too. That means a full floor of chairs reads as one coherent set rather than a mix of near-matches. Choose breathable mesh or fabric where people sit for hours in a warm space. Choose wool or genuine leather where the room needs to feel considered. The right colour then does the rest.
Sustainable and recycled finishes
We also stock fabrics woven from recycled content, including yarns made from reclaimed ocean and post-consumer plastics, that perform just as well as conventional upholstery. Re-covering a sound chair frame in a fresh fabric and colour rather than replacing it outright is something we can arrange too. It keeps usable chairs out of landfill, and it pairs naturally with our circular office solutions programme.
