The impact we have on our environment is important to us. At
HuntOffice, we are continuously evaluating our systems and
processes to drive our business towards a more sustainable
future. After taking many steps to expand our range of
environmentaly friendly products, investing in electric
vehicles for our fleet, and introducing hybrid & remote
working which reduces commuter emissions – we wanted to take
our environmental commitments to the next level. This year,
we have been working with Planet Mark to get a full
assessment and action plan of our business emissions.
We shared all of our emissions data with Planet Mark, who’s
dedicated team independently verified it to industry
standards. Their data collection and reporting includes
scope 1, scope 2, and core scope 3 emissions, which allowed
us to view our emissions across a variety of categories such
as travel, waste, electricity, water and paper use. This
in-depth assessment identified areas of success and areas of
further development for our business.
We are focused on continuous improvement and are proud to be a Planet Mark Certified Business.
Companies must continue to reduce emissions to remain Planet Mark certified.
Going forward, we have targets of a 5% reduction in emissions across scope 1 & 2, and measure
some Scope 3 emissions that are within direct operational control (e.g., Business Travel and
Waste) to maintain our Planet Mark certification. We look forward to expanding our measurement
remit to take strides towards net zero at a critical time for our planet.
