Includes Adult Electrode Pads
It comes with a pair of adult electrode pads with clear illustrations showing you where to place them on the patient's chest. The pads are stored pre-connected to the AED to let you respond faster and are intended for adult use only, but this model can also accept pediatric pads (sold separately). If you do choose to install pediatric pads, the unit will automatically adjust the prompts to fit the new pad style and reduce the energy levels appropriately.
Semi-Automatic Design
Once the pads are in place, this semi-automatic AED will prompt you to deliver the shock at the appropriate time using a simple button. Clear voice prompts guide you through each step of the process so that you can focus on treating the patient properly and confidently. A metronome with timed beeps helps you to administer CPR properly, and all rescue information can also be easily extracted via a data card once time allows.

Additionally, this unit is designed with simplicity and durability in mind - there are no lids or moving parts that could confuse a user and add precious time to rescue setup, and it only has 2 buttons, used to turn the unit on and administer a shock.
Durable Construction
Made from the same material used in football helmets, it is also tested for jet aircraft and helicopter use, and it can withstand military standards for shock and vibration. A roomy handle and rubberized surfaces give you a sure grip in the event of an emergency.
Separate Self-Check Battery
To keep your AED ready to use at all times, this unit uses a separate 9V battery to perform routine daily, weekly, monthly, and quarterly self-checks, which saves the AED battery life for when you need it. Visible and audible indication of unit status lets you know immediately if there's a problem so that you can correct it before the AED is needed.
