Safety signs must be used in all workplaces whenever a hazard or danger can not be avoided adequately or reduced in another way. Here at Huntoffice we have a wide variety of First Aid Safety Signs to suit any business establishment big or small, industrial or office.

Our First Aid Signs come in a variety of materials and colours. Each of these target a specific use or meaning.

Vinyl Material   Vinyl
Vinyl is the best for safety signs on a budget. It is the most cost effective and comes with a self-adhesive backing so you are able to attach it to almost anywhere. It is easily written on if needed, for example to write on the First Aiders roster. While vinyl is cost-effective if you're on a budget, it can easily be peeled off and isn't all that durable if put under certain conditions.
PVC Material   PVC
PVC is the third most widely produced plastic polymer. PVC can come either rigid or flexible. In our safety sign range we have both. Flexible PVC is usually self-adhesive whereas the rigid PVC needs to be fixed to the wall manually.
Polycarbonate material   Polycarbonate
Polycarbonate is a strong and durable material when used in safety signs. They need to be fixed manually to the wall but will offer peace of mind knowing that it is durable and will last a long time. However if placing these signs outdoors, they are very light so they need to be fixed securely. However they do not corrode like their aluminium counterparts.
Aluminium Material   Aluminium
Aluminium is by far, the most durable material out of the lot. It is heavy so it will stay to whatever surface you attach it to regardless of the the majority of conditions. It is, however prone to corroding when under certain outdoor conditions. They look far more professional than any other material and will always deliver on the quality.

Choosing The Right Safety Sign:

When you choose a safety sign there are many factors to consider to get the most out of your money and assure that you do not overpay for your needs or underpay and get the wrong material and have it break a few months down the line. Use this quick buyer's guide to help you choose the right first aid safety sign.

Placement:

When choosing to buy safety signs you need to consider the placement of them. Our first aid safety signs come in a variety of sizes. So think of where you are going to put them beforehand to ensure that you do not choose a size too large or too small for the area which it is going to be placed. When thinking of the placement it is also important to note if it will be suitable for self-adhesive material or not. If you are considering buying a self-adhesive sign, but want to place it in a high traffic area where people are likely to be rubbing against it on a daily basis then the sign will not last as long as it should and you should maybe think about buying a non self-adhesive sign.

Environment:

Another factor to consider when choosing a first aid sign is the environment of your establishment and also (as previously mentioned) the placement. You need to establish the risk factors and choose a safety sign where risk is present. For example if you are buying safety signs for an office, then there would be little to no need for "Emergency Shower" or "Eye Wash Station" safety sign. Your work environment should also play a part when deciding the material of safety sign to purchase. If you are buying for a factory for example, a self-adhesive vinyl sign may not be your best option but rather polycarbonate or aluminium

Premises Size:

The size of your premises plays an important role in deciding on the quatity of first aid signs to purchase. You don't want to buy too many or else it can get confusing, especially if different first aid items are in different places, in a panic people may not be thinking rationally so you need to not overload them with a large amount of signs. At the same time you do not want to have too little signs that people may struggle to find them in an emergency. Rationally think about where best to put the safety signs.

I Would Recommend First Aid Signs From Huntoffice.!
"We use a number of first aid signs around the factory, but these are the type I prefer the most. They have room for all the information that you need around first aid procedures and locations. The best thing is if some information changes then you can easily rub out the info and update. I would recommend first aid signs from Stewart Superior as they are good quality and easy to stick to the walls or doors."

  Fantastic First Aid Signs
"Highly visible first aid box sign. We had an instance last year where a factory worker got a cut and went from one end of the factory to the other to visit a first aid station.
Little did they know there was one nearer their work station. Problem solved"

First Aider Location Self Adhesive Sign 150x200mm Stewart Superior
This First Aid Sign Is Excellent Value !
"I work as both a first aid officer and also as a health & safety officer. I purchased several of these signs and they are up in several key areas around the company. In this day and age it is of utmost importance to comply with health and safety regulations. They signs are bright and prominent and made from a vinyl so are very durable and hard wearing evening in manufacturing environments. I would highly recommend these to any company. I originally priced getting them made by another company and the cost was so extreme. Was delighted to find this website and how cheap these signs are. Excellent Value."

about
First Aider Location Self Adhesive Sign 150x200mm Stewart Superior
  Fantastic Range of Signs!
"We recently spent a lot of money getting our staff trained as First Aiders. Because we run a 3 cycle shift we needed employees trained across all of the shifts. We wanted to put up signs so that people would know exactly who to contact in the event of a first aider being needed. Our safety officer saw these 'your first aider is located at' signs in a factory he was visiting and came back and told us that they were available on the hunt office website and that we needed to get some for our own factory. So, I logged on to the website and I ordered these 'your first aider is located at' signs and now they are up all around the factory."

  Keenly Priced First Aid Signs
"Got these really cheap first aid signs from huntoffice. We did have a first aid area but it wasn't very evident, as the company grows so does the possibility of a mishap so had to make the first aid areas more visible. Bought some hi vis vests for the warehouse operators too which were keenly priced."
