PELI 1450 Case Yellow with FOAM

All PELI ™ Cases are dustproof and crushproof, and can be specified as breathable or watertight. Sizes can accommodate equipment from small electronics to massive fuel pods. There are four distinct lines of cases available: Peli, Peli Storm, Pelican-Hardigg Single Lid and ISP. And each has its own set of features. For starters, the Peli and Peli Storm are injection-moulded cases. Hot material is injected into a mould and cooled to form the part. The other two cases are roto-moulded. Resin powder is loaded into a mould attached to a biaxial arm. As the mould rotates, it’s heated and 15 to 20 percent more resin accumulates in the corners and edges of the mould. Anatomy of a PELI ™ Case
Stronger by design. Peli™ cases are made with a proprietary combination of homo-polymers and co-polymers, using an open cell core and solid wall construction, which is stronger and lighter than a solid core wall. Stainless steel pins are used in hinges and handles.

A WATERTIGHT
The secret is the tongue and groove fit with a polymer O-ring acting as a waterproof seal.

B EASY ROLLER
Stainless steel ball bearing wheels last longer and ride smoother. The nylon hub adjacent to the stainless steel is made to resist heat. The result is less wear and tear on the polyurethane wheel.

C REINFORCED PADLOCK PROTECTORS
Stainless steel reinforced padlock protectors provide added strength and extra security against cutting and theft.

D DOUBLE-THROW LATCHES
The Double-Throw latches are smarter and easier to open: it's the classic "C" clamp design with a secondary movement that works like a pry bar to start the release and offers plenty of leverage to open with a light pull.

E FOAM
All Peli™ cases (except Micro Case Series™ cases, Memory Card Cases, 1780, 1780HL, and1780RF) come standard with Pick N Pluck™ foam. 1700,1720,1750 Cases come standard with 3-piece foam sets. Replacement foam is available for all models (except Memory Card Cases, i1010, and i1030, i1015). To order a case with no foam, add NF to the catalogue number.

F NAMEPLATE
Custom engraved nameplates are available for a nominal fee.

G COOL UNDER PRESSURE
The Automatic Pressure Equalization Valve releases built-up air pressure while keeping water molecules out, resulting in a watertight case that is even easier to open.
