Square Compact is a vinyl loose lay tile developed specifically for heavy-traffic office areas. Square Compact tiles offer outstanding design and performance - while taking care of people and the environment. The range offers 36 contemporary colour options, with versatile inspirations. As a loose lay flooring, Square Compact is quick and easy to install with no need for permanent glue or hot welding, just some tackifier or Tarkospray and the tiles are ready to lay. Tiles can be replaced or removed and re-installed without damage to substrate or sub floor. That makes Square an ideal option for any office where there are raised floors with frequent access required to cables and pipes. Square Compact Loose Lay Tiles are also remarkable for its dimensional stability and superior indentation resistance (≤ 0.10 mm). The 0.8 mm PUR reinforced PVC wear layer (0.7 mm for compact) gives excellent resistance to indentation, abrasion, scuffing and tearing. It also provides a 8 db impact sound reduction. TopClean XP also gives Square an extra-hard surface that is super-resistant to scratches, soiling and stains. No wax and no polish throughout the flooring’s lifetime: maintenance cost can be reduced by up to 30%. For maximum hygiene, Square contains Sanitized®, an anti-bacterial treatment that helps to prevent the proliferation of potentially health damaging organisms. Square also contributes to an excellent indoor air quality which is such an important element in well being. In addition to very low levels of VOC emissions, the loose lay installation uses a tackifier rather than permanent adhesive.
