Need an under floor safe for your home or business? Here at Huntoffice we have a choice of underground safes in various sizes to suit any need. Under floor safes are designed to be buried under a concrete floor. Under floor safes are an ideal solution if space is limited. By choosing one of these you are ensuring that your cash or belongings are protected with the maximum degree of security possible. Why buy an under floor safe? • As under floor safes are placed under ground they take up no room making them an ideal solution in small spaces. • Once installed the safe is hidden and out of sight making it virtually impossible to find in the event of a burglary. • Under floor safes are easily disguised by a floor covering for example, a piece of furniture, a rug or carpet. • They are rigid enough to withstand heavy objects or parts of a building falling on them, protecting the contents inside. • Under floor safes can be used in both the home and business. In businesses they are generally used to deposit cash takings without the staff having access to the actual safe. Points to consider when purchasing an under floor safe: • Choose the correct safe. What do you need the safe for? Consider exactly what you intend to keep in the safe and the amount you want to hold to ensure you get the correct size. It is also recommended that you choose a safe a little larger to avoid having to remove the under floor safe when you may need to store extra items in the future. • The structure and strength of the flooring would need to be inspected to ensure it can support the weight of the safe. • Where to locate the under floor safe. We would suggest that the best place to fit an under floor safe is in a remote area of the building which has the least amount of traffic, a remote corner for example. • Whether being installed by yourself or someone else you need to check around the floor for hazards like wires, cables etc. to avoid serious injury as well as damage to property.

Underground and Underfloor Safes for Irish Homes and Businesses

Hunt Office stocks a comprehensive range of underground and underfloor safes from Phoenix and Britannia — designed to be installed beneath a floor, completely concealed from view and set into concrete for maximum security. A floor safe is one of the most effective forms of home and business security available, combining physical concealment with robust construction. Fast nationwide delivery is available across all 32 counties of Ireland.

Floor Safe Ireland — The Most Popular Category

The Phoenix Tarvos range is the leading underfloor safe in the Irish market and the most stocked model at Hunt Office. Available in 11L and 25L capacities, in gold, red, and green, Phoenix Tarvos floor safes are set into concrete with the lid flush to the floor surface — fully hidden beneath a rug, tile, or fitted floor covering. All 12 models in the range use a key lock, with 7 underfloor models and 5 deposit-slot models available.

Underfloor Safe vs Underground Safe

The terms "underfloor safe", "underground safe", "floor safe", and "ground safe" all refer to the same product type - a safe designed to be installed within a floor void or set into a concrete screed, concealing it beneath the surface. Phoenix Tarvos underfloor safes at Hunt Office are designed for in-concrete installation, making them one of the most theft-resistant safe formats available. Once set in concrete and covered by flooring, they are effectively invisible and immovable.

Underground Safe Box with Deposit Slot

Five models in the Phoenix Tarvos underfloor range at HuntOffice feature a deposit slot, allowing cash, envelopes, or cards to be dropped into the safe without opening the main compartment. This makes underfloor deposit-slot safes particularly useful for retail and hospitality businesses that want to combine the concealment of an underfloor installation with the cash management function of a deposit safe. The Phoenix Tarvos UF0643KD 12" 25L model with key lock and deposit slot is a top seller in this category.

Floor Safe Capacities - 11L and 25L

Phoenix Tarvos underfloor safes at Hunt Office are available in two capacities: 11L (the 9" model, suited to a standard floor void depth) and 25L (the 12" model, requiring a deeper installation). The 25L model is the most stocked capacity, offering more interior space for cash, jewellery, documents, and small valuables. Buyers should confirm the available floor depth at their installation point before selecting a model.
