Delivery Information

HuntOffice is fully operational and is continuing to deliver essential office products and health & safety products throughout Ireland.
 
As announced on gov.ie our business type is listed under the updated list of essential retail services providing direct delivery and is to remain open and fully operational throughout this period.  We are committed to serving our customers during this critical time to ensure you get the products you need without having to leave your home.  We are working around the clock to ensure the availability of these essential products and will extend our resources so we can fulfil your requirements.


Products will be dispatched as indicated on the product page. Please note however that due to an increased volume of deliveries our couriers have indicated that there may be an additional delay of 24 hours on some deliveries
 

Delivery Information

Orders placed on Thursday 9th April will be out for delivered the first working day after the bank holiday weekend, Tuesday 14th April 2020

Great Value:
A delivery charge of €8.99 applies to the majority of office products however some products may have varying delivery charges which will appear in your shopping cart.  Larger, bulkier items may have a higher delivery charge. Your delivery charge will be visible in your shopping cart.

Standard Expected Delivery:
The vast majority of products on the site will be delivered the next business day if ordered before 4.30pm. Orders placed after 4.30pm will be delivered in 1-2 business days.
However we do have items with longer lead times, these include but not limited to furniture,  a range of office supplies products, inks, printers etc. For items of this nature - the expected delivery times are detailed on the product page.

Accepting Delivery:

We deliver throughout Ireland, all deliveries must be signed for so please ensure someone is available, delivery is between 9am and 5pm Monday - Friday (excluding bank holidays), we are unable to accommodate specific delivery times however when delivering to schools the courier will take into account school closing times. We do NOT deliver to PO boxes.

Delivery Shortages:

On receipt of your order, prior to signing for your goods, please carefully check the supporting delivery note supplied by the carrier to ensure that the contents of your delivery corresponds to the items mentioned on the delivery note/packing slip.  No responsibility can be accepted afterwards for short delivery if there is a discrepancy.  All shortages must be reported by email to HuntOffice within 24 hours.  Claims for shortages must be supported by the carrier’s proof of delivery note on which the goods have been signed for as short.

Remote Islands:
A limited number of remote Islands off the Irish Coast are subject to additional delivery charges. Our Customer service team will inform you immediately if this applies to your order, and will continue only with your approval.

Delivery of bulky items, furniture items and upstairs deliveries
The courier is contracted to deliver to the stated address on the order. Insurance covers our couriers to deliver products to the ground floor only. If a product needs to be delivered to a different floor level you will need to arrange this separately yourself. Please note that furniture items are delivered flat-packed and require self assembly.

For heavy items including many security safes, additional delivery charges may apply depending on the weight of the safe or cabinet being delivered and the ease of access to the building. There may be additional charges if two delivery people are required instead of one, whether there are steps leading into the building or if delivery is to a ground floor or an upstairs floor. When you buy a safe or filing cabinet we will contact you and ask you for some basic access information.
