2 - How do I pay for my order?
We accept payment by Visa, Visa Debit, Mastercard and Visa Purchasing Cards. We also offer a 30 Day Credit account for business customers only.

4 - Why did HuntOffice.ie charge €1 to my credit card?
If you recently updated or added a new credit or debit card to your HuntOffice.ie account, a temporary charge of €1 may appear in your bank statement to verify that your card is open and in good standing. The charge will appear as ‘pending’ and is automatically voided after we have verified your card. 

Please be aware that this is not a charge, and will disappear from your statement.  Depending on your bank it can disappear anywhere from a few minutes to a few weeks.
 
 

Delivery

 
1 - When will my order be delivered?
Stocked stationery items will be delivered in 1 to 2 business days
Stocked furniture and bulky items requiring special delivery will be delivered in 2 to 5 business days
Non stocked items may take up to 30 business days to be delivered
 
2 - Will I need to sign for the parcel when it is delivered?
Yes, all items are delivered by courier and will need to be signed for
 
3 - I am not in during the day, where will my goods be left?
All items need to be signed for. We advise you to get the goods sent to your work address or sent to someone who will be in during the day.
 
4 - Delivery Shortages
On receipt of your order, prior to signing for your goods, please carefully check the supporting delivery note supplied by the carrier to ensure that the contents of your delivery corresponds to the items mentioned on the delivery note/packing slip.  No responsibility can be accepted afterwards for short delivery if there is a discrepancy.  All shortages must be reported by email to HuntOffice within 24 hours.  Claims for shortages must be supported by the carrier’s proof of delivery note on which the goods have been signed for as short.

2 - How do I return an item?
Please email returns@huntoffice.ie.  If you are availing of the cooling off period please following the instructions above in section 7  (What is the "Cooling Off" period?)
Please ensure that the item is in its original packaging, is unopened and in a resaleable condition.  Damaged, faulty products and shortages need to be immediately brought to our attention.

Fine Print

 
1 - What is the "Cooling Off" period?
The cooling off period applies to B2C (business to consumer) customers. Business to business customers do not have such entitlement according to the Distance Selling Directive. For business customers items that have been ordered in error cannot be returned however please contact our returns department who will review on a case by case basis.

The "cooling off" period is a period you have as an online consumer in which to make up your mind if you want to return the goods or not.  By law, this "cooling off" period expires 14 days after the day you received your goods. However, if this period expires on a non-working day, your deadline is extended till the next working day.

To exercise your right of withdrawal, you must unequivocally advise us of your decision to withdraw from the purchase.  Prior to returning the goods, please advise our returns team at customerservice@huntoffice.ie.  To help us locate your details on our system please provide us with as much detail as possible including an order number or account number and telephone number.

When sending back the goods, please include a written statement or note with the goods that you are returning by post or courier so we can identify where the goods have come from. It is not enough to just send the goods back.

All goods must be packaged correctly and securely preventing the product and retail packaging from damage during transit. Please do not put packaging tape on retail packaging as this will make the product unsaleable. We generally advise to cover the product and retail packaging with a plastic bag, then protect with bubble wrap and place in a mailing box or envelope ensuring the product fits correctly into the packing box or envelope with no voids. Voids can allow the packing box to be crushed and allow movement and shifting of the contents.

When returning goods you will be responsible for the cost of returning the goods.  Once the goods have been received by HuntOffice, inspected and deemed in a resaleable condition, a refund for the goods will be issued excluding the original cost of delivery.

When availing of the cooling off period, you may not use goods that you have received before deciding to withdraw from the purchase.  All goods being returned must be in resaleable condition including any retail packaging.  Items such as laptops, computers, tablets, printers, software, recordable media and other technology machines and equipment which contain a security seal can only be returned if the security seal has not been broken or tampered with.  Customised, made to order or personalised goods cannot be returned.  Due to health and safety regulations the following cannot be returned: food or beverage goods, biscuits, coffee or water, clothing, safety clothing, footwear, safety footwear, socks, headsets etc.
 
2 - How To Prevent Your Shopping Cart From Emptying?
If you have experienced problems where your shopping cart keeps emptying and logging you out of your account, try using a different browser i.e. Chrome, Internet Explorer, Firefox etc. For optimal performance and speed use our site with Google Chrome - click here to use download Google Chrome.

Alternatively please follow the instructions below which should resolve the problem. If the problem persists please feel free to call us, we can either assist you or take the order over the phone.

For our shopping cart to remember what items you have added to your basket our website uses "cookies". Cookies are small files or pieces of information which are stored by your web browser. So when you revisit a site or page, the page served is particular to you i.e. items recently viewed, items in basket etc.

Another reason why your cookies are being blocked may be due to a firewall, adware or spyware program. To prevent these programs from blocking your cookies, try to shut down the program while using our site, or changing your settings to allow cookies (For all sites or just for www.huntoffice.ie).

If you are a business and have a dedicated IT dept, please contact your IT dept to request that www.huntoffice.ie is added to your allowed cookies list.

HuntOffice has always been committed to protecting your private data. We never sell data to third parties, we use data to inform about delivery information and general communication with our users.
