Monitor Size

Firstly, you should consider what size you would like your monitor to be and its pixel resolution. This is important as different sizes and pixel resolutions cater to the different needs of the users.

Monitor’s sizes at starting from 14-inch devices for portable monitors – ideal for remote applications, outdoors work etc. The standard computer monitors are up to 32-inch in diagonal size, everything bigger than that will be consider an TV or Large Format Display. The largest Monitors we have, are 49-inch and 50-inch.

Aspect Ratio
Our monitors are available in all possible aspect ratios - 4:3 aspect ratios which would be ideal as a simple window into your PC. The 16:9 and 16:10 are wide screens aspect ratios, very popular in TV, broadcasting and literally all modern media. The next step 21:9 aspect ratio and it’s the newest on the market, intentionally used for ultrawide computer monitors and televisions, as well as cinematic widescreen projectors.
In comparison - the 4:3 aspect ratio is older format, often used in old, analogue TV's. It's more "square" shaped format which gives newer media a feeling of being cropped, while 16:9 is a widescreen but on older media it results in black bars manifesting on the top and bottom of the screen.

Monitor Resolution
Resolution of the screen is number of pixels in each dimension that can be displayed. At HuntOffice we have a vast selection of monitors with various screen resolutions. Most popular standard is Full HD which refers to 1920 pixels wide and 1080 pixels height display. Full-HD monitors became an standard for home use, offices, schools, groceries, businesses and all other applications. If you're unsure what type of screen you need, it will be most likely a Full-HD as it's compatible with most devices these days like TV Tuners, Multimedia Players, Game Consoles etc.

4K is another resolution format that becoming very popular lately. 4K is an ultra-high-definition television, 3840 pixels wide by 2160 pixels tall. That is four times as many pixels as the Full-HD. 4K screens are especially recommended to gaming, home cinema or other demanding applications.

Please see below some common, top selling types of screen resolutions for computer monitors we are selling at HuntOffice.

It is important when buying a monitor to make sure you have the right connections for your needs. At we have monitors with various connection types. Below are the most popular ones you can come across.

DisplayPort is a digital display interface. The interface is primarily used to connect a video source to a display device like a monitor but it can be used to transmit audio as well, USB and other forms of data.

HDMI (High-Definition Multimedia Interface) is a compact audio/video interface for transferring video and digital audio from a HDMI-compliant device to a compatible display device. HDMI is typically used to transfer High definition media such as blu-ray or a video game system, if you are planning to use the monitor as a television this is a necessary feature!

Digital Visual Interface (DVI) is a video display interface. The digital interface is used to connect a video source to and to a display device, such as a computer monitor. DVI was developed to create an industry standard for the transfer of digital video content, so it is helpful to have at least one DVI connection on your monitor but not necessary for television or console use.

Lastly, if you need the best display monitor and nothing less there are a few more things for you to consider before deciding on your monitor.

(Video Graphics Array) is an older type of connector, usually equipped with 15-pin D-subminiature connector. VGA was a video/computer standard connector for years, until it was replaced with more efficient HDMI. The intended standard value for the video resolution of VGA's was 640×480. Later, the VGA analogue interface standard has been extended to support resolutions of up to 2048×1536 and even higher in special applications. Monitors with VGA connector are still pretty popular, but since HDMI and DisplayPort are delivering better speed, quality and performance, it's recommended to use these newer types of connectors.
